When was the last time you took your cat or dog to the vet?
According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), 38% of dogs and 58% of cats are fearful of vet visits, even more fearful than kids are of going to the dentist. Even 38% of cat owners and 26% of dog owners are stressed just thinking about it. (Footnote 1)
This month is National Immunization Awareness Month, and August 22 was National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day. So, even if you have a fearful pet, it is imperative for your pet’s welfare, well-being, and health to take your pet for routine vet visits.
