The Mudanjiang shelter that the generous donors helped build got a few sunny days before the cold front hit. All the dogs were out and about to enjoy the precious few sunny
days left in 2021. Remember Mudanjiang has a long and cold winter because it's under the Siberian front. January is the coldest month with the average high only going up to 12°F and and as low as 2°F
Tu-Dou (potato) is enjoying the sunbath so much and is very happy that she got the prime spot.
As we all know, our beloved dogs are very smart. It took no time for all the dogs to find their own favorite spot.
Our Mudanjiang team wanted to share these heartwarming photos with you. All because of you, these dogs are having a wonderful life.
Thank our generous donors that have allowed us to build a much-needed shelter and the first of its kind Youth Compassion Center in this backward dog-eating city. (Click here to read more about the shelter and the Youth Center).

P.S. Giving Tuesday is the day when millions of people around the world donate to the causes they care about most, and it’s coming up November 30. We hope we can count on your support to help us free more dogs trapped in the dog meat trade in China. Our campaign details are coming soon.
Thank you for supporting our important work to bring an end to the dog and cat meat trade.
