Pets Deserve Our Appreciation

Dogs and cats bring joy, comfort, and companionship into our lives. They are our family. They greet us at the door with wagging tails, curl up on our laps, and remind us daily of the simple power of unconditional love.

While many of us can’t imagine life without dogs and cats, in some parts of the world, they become victims of the horrific dog and cat meat trade. Duo Duo Project was created to end the dog and cat meat trade.

Standing Up for Dogs and Cats

Since our founding, Duo Duo Project has been dedicated to ending the dog and cat meat trade through education, advocacy, and hands-on initiatives in China. Together with our supporters, we:

1. Increase empathy for animals through culturally sensitive humane education and community outreach programs in dog and cat-eating cities. This decreases the demand for dog and cat meat. 

   
   

2. Decrease the supply of stray animals who fall victim to the dog and cat meat trade through spay and neuter initiatives. This includes the development of our first-of-its kind Spay and Neuter Training Center in China, which will train local veterinarians and create lasting change in their communities.

Why This Matters

When we show compassion for animals, we create a ripple effect of kindness. Protecting dogs and cats means more than saving their lives—it means building a safer, more humane world for all of us. And we all have a role to play in ensuring that future generations embrace dogs and cats as family, not food.
